I’m proud to call Baltimore home, but for many residents of this city, the pollution from highways and heavy industries makes it tough to live here. Most people don’t have the resources to just pack up and move if they can’t stand the air around them. The best solution already exists. It’s called the Clean Air Act, and if dirty industries followed this law, Baltimore and cities across the country would become far more livable.

You can go days without food or water, but you can only live a few minutes without air.

Since all air isn't healthy or safe to breathe, we depend on the Clean Air Act to be enforced for the protection of all citizens.

Living throughout the Mid-Atlantic, I've experienced a wide variance in air quality. Everyone can't pick up and move. That's why I care about clean air and professionally dedicate my time to the cause.

Clean air should be a fundamental right. Air pollution causes asthma attacks, lung disease, and even death. But our bodies don't have to be the dumping ground for dirty industries.

The technology to dramatically reduce harmful air pollution is available today, and major polluters should be required to use it.

Clean Air Ambassadors from every state are sending a powerful message: Everyone has a right to breathe clean, healthy air.

It’s time Congress and the EPA used their ears to help our lungs.
