As a Latina mother and grandmother, I’m doing my best to let my community know how critical clean air is for our children and their children. The children of this earth deserve clean air, and it’s up to us adults to ensure they get it.

Clean Air Ambassador | , Minnesota

Sylvia Perez

As a concerned Latina mother and grandmother and a law-abiding citizen, I believe that all Minnesotans deserve clean air and a healthy environment.

I want to do my part by letting communities of color know how important this is for our children and their children to have clean air to breathe.

Minnesota's plan falls far short of Clean Air Act legal requirements and will allow pollution to continue fouling our air quality—affecting the health of local residents as well as visitors, and degrading national park and wilderness resources.

I want to do my part by letting communities of color know how important this is for our children and their children to have clean air to breathe.

50 States United For Healthy Air

Clean air should be a fundamental right. Air pollution causes asthma attacks, lung disease, and even death. But our bodies don't have to be the dumping ground for dirty industries.

The technology to dramatically reduce harmful air pollution is available today, and major polluters should be required to use it.

Clean Air Ambassadors from every state are sending a powerful message: Everyone has a right to breathe clean, healthy air.

It’s time Congress and the EPA used their ears to help our lungs.
