You would think that in Montana, with all of the breathtaking landscapes, we would take better care of God's creation. However, there is lots of agricultural runoff, field burning and dumping of mine wastes into rivers.

I grew up in mining country. I know what it feels like to breathe in "smelter smoke" and have it burn your throat. There was lots of cancer and breathing sickness in nearly every family. I have not found a way to get involved in fighting toxic poisoning, until now. I want officials in Washington, D.C. to help us create jobs while cleaning our air and our land.
