Committee Against Heliport Construction - Save Life Society
The Committee Against Heliport Construction is an organization based in Okinawa, Japan, dedicated to halting the construction of new military bases on and around Okinawa, and to the protection of the sea and coral reefs surrounding the island. Members regularly gather seaweed and shellfish and catch fish from the nearby reef for subsistence.
