Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center

The Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center was formed in 1997 as federal agencies ramped up logging in the Pacific Northwest. KS Wild fights for permanent protection of the incomparable ecological riches of southwest Oregon and northwest California, with a particular focus on the Rogue River, Siskiyou and Klamath National Forests, and the Medford and Coos Bay Districts of the Bureau of Land Management. Since its inception, KS Wild has prevented the logging of nearly 3,000 acres of roadless and native forests equaling over 30 million board feet - or 15,000 log truck loads of old-growth trees.
