Oregon Wildlife Federation

Founded in 1936, Oregon Wildlife Federation (OWF) is one of Oregon's oldest conservation organizations. Originally an affiliate of National Wildlife Federation, today OWF is an independent entity which links and supports grassroots activists throughout Oregon who are working to protect the state's rivers, ancient forests, deserts, and the species which depend upon them for survival. OWF accomplishes its mission though community organizing, education, and litigation. OWF's quarterly newsletter, The Activist, is distributed to hundreds of members statewide. OWF has entered into an aggressive grassroots outreach campaign which will dramatically increase its membership.
