The Individual Gifts Officer develops and implements strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors potentially capable of major and/or deferred gifts. He/she conducts initial exploratory meetings with donors and prospects to determine capacity for major giving.
This position reports to the Director of Major Gifts. He/she must be able to build constructive and effective relationships with the development team and other administrative and program staff. This position is based at headquarters in the San Francisco, CA office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires a substantial amount of travel; approximately 40-50% of the time that will fluctuate throughout the year.
