Tracy Coppola is a Senior Legislative Counsel with the Policy & Legislation team in Washington, D.C. Her work covers public lands, including national forests, Bureau of Land Management lands, National Parks, and onshore oil and gas.
Tracy has a decade of experience in legislative and administrative advocacy and organizing at the federal and state level. Prior to joining Earthjustice, she was a Director in the Wildlife Protection Department of The Humane Society of the United States, where she ran their campaign to protect grizzly bears, wolves, mountain lions, and other native carnivores. As a Campaigns Officer for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, she led their successful Big Cats campaign where she engaged first responders to champion the federal Big Cats and Public Safety Protection Act, and also focused on free trade agreements affecting natural resources.
Tracy received her JD and Masters in environmental policy from Vermont Law School and her Bachelors of Arts from Yale University.
