Zoe Woodcraft is Earthjustice’s Advocacy Communications Manager for the Healthy Communities program in the San Francisco office. She partners with communities and reporters to improve environmental health issues. She believes in the power of compelling narratives and language to create change.
Zoe joined Earthjustice in 2016 after five years as a nonprofit communications consultant. She previously worked on five national monument campaigns in the Golden State, supported conservation-smart renewable energy growth in the desert, and defended health and human services for families most impacted by the Great Recession. She began her career at PBS FRONTLINE, where she worked on public-interest documentary projects after graduating from UC Berkeley.
Born in London, Zoe adopted California as her home base after eating one too many avocados.
Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We wield the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change. We are here because the earth needs a good lawyer.
