Pennsylvania judge orders records opened in fracking case
Bloomberg : March 20, 2013

Summary:  A judge has ordered Range Resources Corp. to disclose documents related to its fracking efforts in Pennsylvania. The members of the Hallowich family have experienced adverse health effects from fracking, happening dangerously close to their home. This decision will encourage greater transparency in related cases across the nation in which oil companies have kept the details of their dirty work suspiciously concealed.

Earthjustice attorney Matthew Gerhart said, “They made very serious allegations about the health impacts of drilling near their home. We are interested to know whether there is anything in the record that sheds light on those allegations.”
