Ed Lewis has been a consultant for the conservation community and environmental grantmakers for decades.

“Protecting the environment and conserving wild places and species have been my passion and profession for over 30 years,” Lewis said. “Earthjustice is simply the most important and effective player in the field, and now more than ever the Earth needs a good lawyer.”

Lewis has been a consultant for the conservation community and environmental grantmakers since 1994. Prior to that, he served as executive director of the Greater Yellowstone Coalition. He began his career at the Phoenix law firm Lewis and Roca.

“Earthjustice is proud to welcome Ed, an Honorary Life Trustee, back as an active member of the board,” said Earthjustice President Trip Van Noppen. “He knows our organization intimately, and has a breadth of experience with and depth of commitment to the conservation community that is invaluable.”

Lewis currently serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Training Resources for the Environmental Community and on the boards of the National Parks Conservation Association and LaSalle Adams Fund.
