Many cities in the Midwest suffer serious air pollution from cars and trucks, power plants, and other industrial facilities. The toll on public health is heavy, but enforcement remains lax owing to pressure from the regulated industries. Earthjustice represents local citizens and their organizations in an ongoing campaign to enforce and strengthen regulations to protect people’s lungs.
