Jillian Hertzberg is the Office Assistant for the Washington D.C. office, supporting staff in Litigation, Communications, and Policy & Legislation. While new to Earthjustice staff, she is no stranger to the organization—her first entrée to Washington was as the Policy & Legislation intern in the summer of 2010. Before returning to Earthjustice full-time, she worked as the Clean Cars Associate at Environment America, where she advocated for doubling the fuel economy of our cars and trucks, as seen in the Obama administration’s recently finalized CAFE standards.
Jillian is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Miami University, where she earned degrees in Botany and Latin American Studies. She spends her time outside the office cooking, biking, running, and continuing her quest to find the city’s best glass of sweet tea.
