Climate Change, Jobs Focus In Second Day Of Shoreline Methanol Hearings

Amanda Goodin, Staff Attorney, Earthjustice: “It’s important to know that these [climate change] impacts won’t just be felt at the project site. All of the shorelines of the state will be harmed. Protecting the state’s shorelines means doing everything we can to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, and that means drastically reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. Unfortunately, this project will move us fast in the absolute opposite direction.”
