June has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and expertise in development, specializing in foundation relations and donor communications. Serving in a range fundraising roles, she has lived out life-long passions for protecting the natural world, advancing environmental and social justice, and building healthier communities.
In her current role as Interim Director of Foundation Relations at Earthjustice, June manages a team of six, and builds partnerships with foundations across the country, focusing on improving air quality, eliminating toxic chemicals from the environment, and moving California toward a 100% clean energy system.
June is also active in work groups charged with implementing Earthjustice’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.
Prior to joining Earthjustice, June worked for the Women’s Funding Network, Pepperdine University, California State Long Beach, and AltaMed Health Services. She has also consulted for agencies in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
An East Coast native, June holds a B.A in English Journalism, an M.A. in English from California State Long Beach, and she has studied public policy at San Francisco State University.
