Nirit is an associate attorney with the California Regional Office in San Francisco.

Prior to joining Earthjustice, Nirit was an associate attorney in a San Francisco Bay Area law firm specializing in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and land use law, and before that she was the clinical attorney for the Environmental Justice Clinic in the Tel Aviv University law school, and a staff attorney in the Israel Union for Environmental Defense, an environmental law nonprofit.

Nirit holds a law degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an LL.M from Columbia Law School.
