Bridgett McCoy is an associate attorney with the Fossil Fuels Program. Bridgett primarily supports the teams’ efforts to stop oil and gas buildout along the Louisiana and Gulf coasts.

Before Earthjustice, Bridgett was a human rights fellow based in Bogotá, Colombia for the Interamerican Association for Environmental Defense (AIDA). Bridgett attended Columbia law school where she participated in the Immigrant’s Rights Clinic, published her note on protest restrictions in cancer alley in the Columbia Human Rights Law Review, and was a Kent and Stone scholar. Before Law School, Bridgett worked as an environmental consultant to USAID and got her BA from Bowdoin College.
