Earthjustice Hires Aish Shukla as New Chief Technology Officer

Earthjustice, the nation’s leading nonprofit environmental law organization, has appointed Aish Shukla, a seasoned tech leader as its Chief Technology Officer.
“It has never been more critical for tech to be a force for good,” said Shukla. “The future of technology lies in driving impact where it truly matters — ensuring we have a thriving planet for generations to come. I’m thrilled to bring my experiences to Earthjustice and find ways to help the organization use tech solutions to avert the worst of the climate crisis, protect critical habitats, and safeguard people’s health.”
Shukla brings decades of experience to the role, having previously served as CTO at the International Refugee Assistance Project, where he spearheaded IT operations, product, engineering, and data initiatives to help millions displaced by war, persecution and climate change. Before pivoting to the nonprofit sector, he served in leadership positions at companies like Microsoft, Oracle, and most recently Salesforce, where he led technology and operations for their global marketing organization inspiring and educating millions of professionals across the globe through digital channels transformative global events.
