Financial Statements

At Earthjustice, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of good governance. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we respect each and every gift from the tens of thousands of individual donors and the foundations who invest in us to build a better future.

Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Report

We’re in the fight of our lives — and thanks to you, our dedicated supporters, we’ve risen to meet outsized challenges. Since January 2025, we’ve opened more than 150 new pieces of litigation, standing up for people and the planet when it mattered most.

Earthjustice has grown to 600 full-time staff. In the coming year, we will double our rate of staffing growth compared to last year. Your investments have fueled our strength and resolve.

The year ahead demands even more from us: more pushback against lawlessness, more defense of bedrock laws, and more enforcement of lifesaving environmental protections. And with federal leadership stagnating, our affirmative work is even more essential. We must keep winning for clean air, clean water, and clean energy across the country and the world. A better future cannot wait.

Earthjustice is all in. We have the partners, the expertise, and the determination to win. We’re investing boldly, betting on ourselves, and using every resource we can to build our capacity to take this fight further. Our opponents’ ambitions are vast; ours are even greater.

We know we can’t get there alone — thanks to your continued support, we know we don’t have to. Thank you for fighting alongside us.
