Liza joined Earthjustice in 2022 as a senior attorney with the Fossil Fuels group and is focused on the Liquified Natural Gas sector in Louisiana and the broader Gulf Coast area. She is based in New Orleans.

Before Earthjustice, Liza was deputy director at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. There, she practiced and taught public interest environmental law in federal and state courts, representing organizations and individuals fighting to protect our coast, air, water, and communities. She continues to represent many of the same groups now.

Liza is a graduate of Tulane Law School and holds an M.A. in classical languages from Tulane University and a B.A. from Connecticut College. She sits on the City of New Orleans Ethics Review Board, where she recently served as chair. She enjoys good food, bad puns, and spending time with family and friends.
