Khushi Desai joined Earthjustice in August 2010 after spending almost three years at a small law firm in Washington, D.C., specializing in plaintiff-side complex civil litigation.

She received her J.D. in 2007 from the University of Maryland School of Law where she earned a certificate in environmental law and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. While in law school, Khushi served as a student attorney in the School of Law’s Environmental Law Clinic and as a legal extern at the United States Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division.

Khushi graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2004 with high honors in environmental science and policy.
