The Never Rest Legacy Challenge

Thank you for helping us raise nearly $126 million in future gifts.

Thanks to the generosity of three dedicated sponsors, the Never Rest Legacy Challenge leveraged an unprecedented $17 million match pool to encourage supporters to disclose their estate gifts to Earthjustice.

During its three-year span, from January 2022 to December 2024, the challenge raised nearly $126 million in future support, a remarkable testament to the generosity of more than 670 donors who informed us of their bequests, beneficiary designations, life income gifts, and other legacy commitments.

By including Earthjustice in their estate plans, these donors helped to activate $12.7 million in immediate matching donations from our sponsors, funding that will directly impact Earthjustice’s ongoing efforts to protect biodiversity, advance climate action, and champion justice-centered environmental movements.
