School Meals Nutrition: Amicus Curiae Brief

Under the Rollback Rule, school lunches could contain nearly 50% more sodium than scientists consider safe and only half the recommended amount of whole grains. Because the Rollback Rule threatens children’s health and wellbeing, AHA, APHA, FoodCorps, MomsRising, and NEA respectfully submit this amicus brief in support of Plaintiffs Center for Science in the Public Interest and Healthy School Food Maryland.
