After five years of service, White House chief climate advisor Heather Zichal today announced her resignation.
The following is a statement from Earthjustice President Trip Van Noppen:
“Heather Zichal has been a chief advocate for White House action on climate change since President Obama took office. Her leadership has helped to produce a critical White House plan to address climate change and several key clean cars and clean energy policies, actions which have been desperately needed. We are grateful for her dedication and advocacy on behalf of our shared environment. We wish her well in her future endeavors.”
