‘Arbitrary’ Transmission Fee Threatens Montana Wind Development

Aurora Janke, Attorney, Earthjustice: “BPA’s proposed decision refuses to eliminate an unreasonable duplicate charge that has left nearly 200 MW of BPA’s transmission capacity unused since it was developed in the 1980s. This proposed decision is inconsistent with sound business principles and discriminates against Montana renewable resources seeking to supply energy to the Pacific Northwest.”

Why California's Climate Change Fight Is Also About Public Health

We need to drastically decrease the amount of fossil fuels we combust. ... LA is kind of the perfect place to become the electric vehicle capital of the world: we have lots of passenger vehicles, we have lots of transit buses. Electrification of our transportation sector is critical."

Gov. Brown Visits Polluted Neighborhoods In Environmental Tour Of Southeast LA

So, the idea was to let the governor experience firsthand, what it's like to live in this area that is heavily impacted by dirty trucks, dirty trains, and other emissions from goods movement."
