East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice, Ironbound Community Corporation, and Sierra Club petition the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit for a writ of mandamus requiring the United States Environmental Protection Agency and Michael S. Regan, in his official capacity as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to promulgate a rule updating its emission standards for large municipal solid waste incinerators. Petition for Review (2020) — California Communities Against Toxics et al v. US EPA

Pursuant to Clean Air Act § 307(b)(1), 42 U.S.C. § 7607(b)(1), Rule 15 of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure, and D.C. Circuit Rule 15, California Communities Against Toxics, Gasp, and Sierra Club hereby petition this Court for review of a final action taken by Respondents U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Administrator Andrew Wheeler and published in the Federal Register at 85 Fed. Reg. 36,851 (June 18, 2020) and titled “Granting Petitions To Add 1- bromopropane (Also Known as 1-BP) to the List of Hazardous Air Pollutants” (Attachment).
