Members of the committee objected to Fox filming a hearing on a natural-gas drilling technique known as hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking.” They also objected to the presence of an ABC News crew. Fox did not have the proper press credentials and the ABC News crew had not given adequate notice that they would be filming, according to committee staff.
