Alexander Tom is an associate attorney with the Clean Energy Program. He is based in our San Francisco office. Alex works primarily on proceedings involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Prior to joining Earthjustice, Alex was a fellow with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Litigation Team, where his cases included work on pipelines, vehicle standards, endangered species, and hazardous waste. Alex previously clerked for Judge Jon S. Tigar on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and Judge Sandra S. Ikuta on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Alex received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Colorado College.
