About the speakers

Laura Arroyo is a senior attorney with Earthjustice’s Florida Regional Office, based in Miami, Florida.

Laura’s focus is on litigation and advocacy for energy and environmental justice issues in Puerto Rico.

Lorena Vélez looking directly at the camera with a smile.

Lorena I. Vélez-Miranda is a senior associate attorney with Earthjustice and a native of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, now based in San Juan. For the past five years, she has worked alongside communities and partner organizations across Puerto Rico on energy and environmental issues, seeking to advance equitable and sustainable solutions for the archipelago she calls home.

Ana Correa is a supervising litigation paralegal with Earthjustice’s Florida Regional Office.

Ana’s focus is on Florida and Puerto Rico matters.
