Thien Chau is a senior associate attorney with the Community Partnerships Program.

Thien joined Earthjustice in September 2021 after spending two years with the Sierra Club Environmental Law Program. He earned his J.D. in 2019 from the Georgetown University Law Center where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Thien was the editor in chief of the Environmental Law Review and served as a student attorney in the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic. Thien earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2016 with honors in political science and environmental studies.
