The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals rules health and labor organizations will have to argue, again, in court that chlorpyrifos, a brain-damaging pesticide, must be banned from all food use. The decision comes four months after Andrew Wheeler’s Environmental Protection Agency asked the court to rehear the case.

Legal Document: Court Ruling Clears Hurdle Toward Lasting Protections For Puget Sound Shorelines

A federal judge rejects an effort by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to dismiss a lawsuit challenging its refusal to adequately protect shoreline areas in Puget Sound. The Court’s decision means the lawsuit, which charges that the agency has refused to assert its Clean Water Act jurisdiction over most shoreline armoring in Puget Sound, will go forward.
