Connor Fournier is Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Workplace Experience and Sustainability at Earthjustice. He leads the organization’s finance, investment, and workplace functions, developing the financial and operational infrastructure required for sustainable growth, organizational transformation, and greater mission impact.
As a strategic partner to the President, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors, Connor helps shape organizational strategy, align resources with priorities, and strengthen long-term financial sustainability. At Earthjustice, he has enhanced financial planning and analysis, enabled faster and more informed decision-making, scaled operations to meet urgent organizational and environmental needs, supported the launch of new organizations, and advanced workplace strategy across real estate, security, and the employee office experience.
Connor brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across nonprofit and corporate organizations with annual operations ranging from $200 million to $6 billion. His expertise spans finance, investments, operations, program development, human resources, technology, compliance, procurement, and workplace strategy. He has led complex portfolios and cross-functional teams at national, international, and global levels, combining strategic vision with disciplined execution.
Before joining Earthjustice, Connor served as Chief Financial Officer and operations leader at Harlem Children’s Zone. He helped support a $300 million national expansion, contributed to doubling the organization’s endowment to approximately $1 billion, and led teams across finance, information technology, human resources, compliance, and procurement. Earlier, in CFO roles at Success Academy Charter Schools and Nielsen, he strengthened liquidity, accelerated decision-making, and built scalable operational systems that supported rapid growth.
Connor earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management, summa cum laude, from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business. He also completed an international business program through Virginia Tech’s Steger Center for International Scholarship in Switzerland.
