Rumela Roy is a senior associate attorney with the Oceans Program. Her practice focuses on protecting marine biodiversity and fighting offshore fossil fuel development. She is based in Denver, Colorado.

Prior to joining the Oceans Program, Rumela spent four years at Earthjustice’s Rocky Mountain office, where she worked to preserve public lands and protect communities from the harmful impacts of onshore oil and gas development and mining. Before joining Earthjustice, Rumela was a litigation associate at a law firm.

Rumela received her law degree from Yale Law School in 2017.
