New York: Comments to DEC on Draft SIP Revision for the 2008 Ozone NAAQS

The Draft SIP represents an important opportunity for DEC to take meaningful steps toward attainment of the 2008 ozone NAAQS. We commend DEC for recently adopting regulations to reduce NOx emissions from important point sources like peaker plants and solid waste incinerators, but significant work remains to reduce NOx emissions from the transportation sector.
