Claire Vallin is a pro bono attorney with the Northeast regional office in New York, NY.
She joined Earthjustice after graduating cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she participated in the Michigan Law Human Trafficking Clinic and a project to develop a database on environmental crimes.
Claire spent the summer of 2013 at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 2 in the Environmental Crimes Division, where she worked on superfund issues and had the opportunity to dive into discovery. During law school, Claire also interned with the Legal Aid and Defender Association in Detroit.
Her interests include trail running, snowshoeing, fishing and poetry. Claire is a 2009 graduate, with Honor, of Michigan State University in 2009, where she received a BA in Political Science and minored in Philosophy & Law.
