Darrell Byers

Vice President, Development

Darrell Byers is the Vice President of Development.

Darrell brings over 20 years of fundraising experience to Earthjustice. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Darrell worked extensively in public broadcasting, higher education, and medical institutions, including his last position as the Director of Development at WBUR in Boston, one of the nation’s leading National Public Radio stations.

Previous work also includes, vice president of development at Norwood Hospital, director of corporate and foundation relations at Georgetown University, major gifts officer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and corporate fundraising at WGBH. While serving as vice chancellor at UMASS Boston, he was awarded the CASE District 1 Eleanor Collier Award for his contribution to education, and professional expertise in development.

Darrell is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.
