Eudora Powell is the newest Litigation Assistant in the Seattle, WA office, having joined Earthjustice in March 2014.
Since graduating from Pierce College (formerly Ft. Steilacoom Community College) many years ago, Eudora has had an illustrious career in the legal field; namely, civil litigation, personal injury and estate planning. Her helpful nature, concern and compassion for others lend itself well with the Earthjustice mission of having a “passion for the environment.” She is a big proponent of conserving energy and recycling and has done both for years, as well as having donated clothing to Jessie Dyslin Boy’s Ranch (a non-profit charitable organization) until they went out of business.
Her other passions include the Women of Literature book club, which she co-founded in 2009, spending quality time (translation: lunch or dinner) with friends, most genres of music—especially contemporary jazz, neo-soul, R&B, blues and alternative. Though it can be expensive if you include dinner and drinks, her favorite music venue in the Seattle area is Jazz Alley.
Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We wield the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change. We are here because the earth needs a good lawyer.
