Jessica Townsend joined Earthjustice’s Rocky Mountain office as an associate attorney in the summer of 2013. She received her law degree from Stanford Law School, graduating with distinction in 2008. During law school, she worked in the Environmental Law Clinic on endangered species issues and spent summers at Earthjustice and the Sierra Club Environmental Law Program. After spending some time in private practice, as well as a few years at home with her two young daughters, Jessica is thrilled to be back at Earthjustice and working each day to protect the extraordinary public lands, water, and wildlife in the Rocky Mountain region.
Jessica also holds bachelor’s degrees in both mathematics and the Plan II Honors program from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in environmental science from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
