John Wall joined the California regional office in 1999.
He was a program assistant at Natural Resources Defense Council for two years before coming to Earthjustice as a litigation assistant.
Born in Hawaiʻi and raised there and in Maryland, he came to California to attend Brooks Institute of Photography after getting out of the Navy and has been here ever since. He's a graduate of Humboldt State University and lives with his wife in San Francisco where they maintain an artist colony of two.

Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We wield the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change. We are here because the earth needs a good lawyer.
