Marie Logan is a legal fellow with the Coal Program. She is based in San Francisco.
Marie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. During law school, she served as Chair of the Environmental Law Project, and co-ran the Journal of Law and Social Change as Editor-in-Chief. Her employment during law school included clerkships with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 3; the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section; Earthjustice; and the Philadelphia-based Clean Air Council. Before joining Earthjustice as a legal fellow, she clerked for Justice Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Before law school, Marie worked for four years as a policy analyst and community organizer with Food & Water Watch, where she was engaged in a variety of environmental and consumer advocacy campaigns. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in history and a minor in Spanish.
