After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Law, Sean served as a law clerk to two federal judges—Judge Diana E. Murphy, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle, of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. A year in Arnold & Porter's New York litigation group followed. In 2007, Sean joined Earthjustice's Northern Rockies office, beginning a long-dreamt career dedicated to the environment’s defense.
