Susanna Beck joined Earthjustice in 2014 as a development officer in the Foundation Relations Department.
Previously, Susanna cultivated funding relationships with foundations and individual donors at several non-profit organizations including Center for Food Safety, Farallones Marine Sanctuary Association, and Sustainable Harvest International.
Susanna holds a M.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University where she focused her research on food and agriculture systems around the world, culminating in her master’s thesis, “Systemic Barriers to Agroecology: A Comparative Analysis of Mexico, Paraguay, and Cuba.” Susanna holds a B.A. in History with minors in Environmental Studies and Critical Gender Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
