Before joining Earthjustice in 2008, Wendy Park worked at the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois in Chicago from 2005–2008, litigating cases involving national security, law enforcement practices, First Amendment rights and juvenile detention facility issues.
Prior to that, she clerked for the Honorable George P. Kazen of the Southern District of Texas in Laredo.
Wendy is a 2004 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts in English from UC Berkeley in 2000.
“There is no human right more basic than the right to breathe clean air. The [San Joaquin] Valley Air District, the state Air Resources Board, and the federal EPA have all failed to defend that right and the health of the citizens they are supposed to protect.If the EPA will not follow the law, it is up to citizens to force them.”
