Hello,
Right now, one of the most savage, brutal crimes against animals is occurring in Canada. Every year, hundreds of thousands of seals are slaughtered for their fur. No matter how the Canadian government tries to rationalize the carnage, it is done for only one reason--profit.
This MUST stop. Those who only care about getting away with the slaughter claim that they are not doing anything wrong. They say it is legal. They are correct. That must be changed. All the letters and e-mails and protests and money in the world will not work as long as the law permits the carnage. If there is anything that cries out for justice, it is Canada's seal hunt.
Earth Justice lawyers and supporters must do whatever it takes to stop it. Time is running out for the seals. Whether it takes a law suit, a boycott of Canadian goods or getting physically between the killers and the seals, it must be done--and soon. Please stop the carnage now.
