Jeremy Lieb is a senior attorney in Earthjustice’s Alaska Office in Anchorage.

Jeremy’s practice is focused on protecting Alaska’s communities, lands, waters, and wildlife from the harms of extractive industries, including fighting to stop expanded oil development in the Arctic and logging in the Tongass National Forest.

Prior to joining Earthjustice in 2018, Jeremy clerked for three judges — Hon. Morgan Christen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Hon. Salvador Mendoza Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington (since elevated to the Ninth Circuit), and Hon. Craig Stowers of the Alaska Supreme Court — and he worked in private practice at a small law firm in eastern Washington state.

Jeremy holds a law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and a B.A. in geography from Central Washington University.

He is also the current president of the Federal Bar Association – Alaska Chapter.
