Bala Sivaraman is the Public Affairs and Communications Associate for Partnerships and Intersectional Justice.
Bala works closely with clients and partners across Earthjustice to publish public-facing reports, fact-sheets and opinion editorials to accelerate the clean energy transition, strengthen protections for public lands and wildlife, and safeguard public health. He is a member of the Sunrise Movement, a youth-led organization committed to solving the climate crisis in a just and equitable way. Bala previously worked as a Communications Intern at Precision, a political communications firm, working with clients across the legislative, environmental, and public health sectors.
Bala remains a firm believer in the power of empathy, education, and collective action to achieve a more equitable and just world for all living beings. He is earning his M.S. in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University and holds a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
