Dawn Petricciani is a senior major gifts officer.
Prior to Earthjustice, Dawn served as associate director of philanthropy at the Nature Conservancy where she was the fundraising lead for their Emerald Edge program raising money with a team of fundraisers in Canada, Alaska, and Washington to support community-led conservation in the world’s largest temperate rainforest. Prior to joining the Nature Conservancy, Dawn spent 7 years building a Major Gifts program from the ground up at Childhaven, a nonprofit focused on early learning and child development. Before that, she was director of major gifts at the Seattle YMCA and executive program manager at Team Survivor Northwest, a nonprofit dedicated to the health and wellness of women cancer survivors.
Dawn has an MPA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Psychology from Gonzaga University. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dawn grew up exploring the coastal areas and forests of Oregon. She was drawn to Earthjustice by our mission to protect our wild and natural places while ensuring that our families and communities have clean air, water, and the food they need to thrive.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys reading, travelling and dance… especially salsa!
