Jade Juhl

Jade Juhl is a development officer with the Foundation Relations team who focuses on fundraising for Earthjustice’s Climate and Energy program. She is based in San Francisco at our headquarters office.
Jade was previously on the Foundation Relations team at NRDC, where she worked in a similar role stewarding relationships with large foundations and generating grant funding that supported an array of projects aimed at curbing climate change and increasing the use of clean energy resources in the U.S., China, India, and Latin America. Before joining NRDC, Jade worked at the Energy Foundation as a grantmaker, where she focused on advancing clean power policies in the Western U.S. Prior to that, Jade worked at the SF Dept. of the Environment, where she managed a pair of U.S. Dept. of Energy Solar America Initiative grant projects, while promoting solar and renewable energy use in San Francisco and contributing to the development of local solar policies and programs.
Jade has a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University with a concentration in Energy Management and Design, and a B.S. in Mass Communications from Kansas State University.
