Federal Policy: Solar, Clean Energy, Electrification
Jake Kornack is an associate legislative representative on the Policy and Legislation team at Earthjustice. Based in Washington D.C., Jake advances federal policy related to solar, clean energy, and electrification. Prior to Earthjustice, he was the second employee at Dandelion Energy, an Alphabet spin-off that specializes in geothermal energy. Jake worked in the Senate on climate policy for Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR), and his climate-related writing has appeared in The Hill, The International New York Times, and USA Today. Jake received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Willamette University and is currently an MBA candidate at Georgetown University, participating in their evening program.
