Joel Minor joined Earthjustice’s Rocky Mountain Office as an associate attorney in 2015.
Joel graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Environmental Policy and a minor in Southwest Studies. He then attended Stanford, where he earned a J.D. and an M.S. in Environment and Resources with an emphasis in Atmospheric Science. During law school, Joel interned with the Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, and Earthjustice offices in Washington, D.C., and Rocky Mountain. He also represented a California tribe fighting to protect a sacred site through the Stanford Environmental Law Clinic.
After graduation, Joel returned home to Colorado to clerk for Judge Carlos F. Lucero on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. At Earthjustice, Joel works to protect communities from the harmful impacts of energy development.
